Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies

As a company Star Edible Oil (Pvt) Ltd continuously adopts an environmentally friendly manufacturing process.

We regularly review our health and safety guidelines in order to ensure we follow the most up to date standards when it comes to the health and safety of our consumers, staff and the environment. Our factory is built to minimise noise pollution. We have followed all relevant guidance from the National Engineering Research and Development Centre of Sri Lanka (NERD). We operate strict measures to minimise our waste and maintain careful methods to ensure that all waste produced in our manufacturing process is managed within our factory boundaries. We strive to recycle or maximise the use of all waste from our factories. Currently we work together with a fertilizer company supplying them with the discarded waste from our manufacturing plant.

We ensure that we follow all environmental protection guidelines in our waste water management processes.

For our commitment to following these guidelines we have received the approval stamps from the NERD and the CEA.
